What has happened to the layout

The layout lasted from 1974 until 1994 in it's revised form. Unfortunately in January 1992 the owners of the Smallwood Alms Houses gave the club notice that we were going to have to move at that time within six months. The six months became five years and so the layout survived until 1994 when it was systematically taken apart. The Club salvaged as much as possible and parts of the layout do live on in other layouts
