Former Club Member has passed away
Sadly we have to report long time supporter and former Club
Member Ken Bridger lost his battle with cancer on
Sunday 14th May when he passed away at home aged 76. Ken
was the inspiration for the construction of our Dagnell
End exhibition as he had scratch built a number of
Southern Region electric multiple units that still form
the basis of rolling stock used on this layout
Ken was able to pass on his techniques on how he made
this rolling stock to a number of our members who have
used them in their own projects which run on a number of
our layouts. We will be thinking of
you Ken when we exhibit our Dagnell End layout at
the Exeter show in July. God bless you Ken and happy
railway modelling where ever you are now.
